Evidence for subject leaders, without the folder
For subject leaders and heads of department: plan monitoring, capture what you see, and show how teaching in your subject is developing over time.
Ready for the subject conversation
Strengths, areas for development and criteria trends for your subject in one view, ready when leaders, governors or inspectors ask how it is going.
Monitoring across the curriculum
Templates for lessons, book reviews and wider curriculum monitoring, so every subject is looked at in the same way.
Developing teaching, not grading lessons
No lesson grades. Criteria, strengths, next steps and follow-ups that show how practice is developing.
Plan the term in one go
Choose the classes or teachers, set observers and dates, and publish: every evaluation is created at once and each observer gets their list. A warning shows before anyone is over-monitored.
A subject evidence pack
Filter the evidence pack to your subject for a short PDF of what was planned, what you found, what was done and what changed. No names and no grades.
How it works for subject leaders
Plan which classes and subjects to monitor this term.
Record observations and scrutiny against shared criteria.
Track next steps and see criteria move at follow-up.
Questions
- Can we see results by subject?
- Yes. Reports can be broken down by subject, as well as by school, year group, term and teacher. What each person can see is set by their role in each school, not by subject.
- Does it help with inspection conversations?
- It gives subject leaders evidence over time of how teaching is being developed in their subject, which is what those conversations ask about, and a subject evidence pack to download. It does not grade lessons.
- Does it work for heads of department in secondary schools?
- Yes. Subjects and templates are configured per school or trust.
